At Danone, I designed and led a UAT project for a new B2C product. I built the testing flow, recruited users, and conducted 10 in-depth sessions as lead interviewer. The final report turned user feedback into actionable insights, guiding product improvements and earning strong recognition from the team and clients.

Pre-launch evaluation of user journey & business alignment
As part of my internship at Danone, I participated in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate a consumer-facing health product before launch. The project aimed to ensure that the user journey—from initial brand introduction to everyday usage and post-result engagement—met both business objectives and user expectations. My role was to help design the testing framework, define key evaluation points, and translate user feedback into actionable insights for product improvement.
Testing Objectives
The product was positioned to drive user conversion while also strengthening health education and brand understanding. Pre-use communication focused on clearly conveying value, while post-use experience emphasized meaningful content delivery that met user expectations. These positioning insights framed the UAT design, helping us test whether the product journey—from education to usage to results—achieved both business and user goals.
Pre-sale: Interactive questionnaire + Brand intro + Sample report
Can users clearly understand the key health concept introduced?
Does the provided information/report strengthen user trust and increase willingness to purchase?
In Use: Purchase journey + Sampling + Easy return + Process visibility
Do the designed purchase models meet user needs, or are there unmet scenarios?
Are there gaps or confusing steps in the sampling and testing process? Does current guidance reduce user effort?
How do users perceive the return mechanism, and how might it affect their decisions?
Post-sale: Results + Health advice + Alerts + Sharing
Is the result display clear, engaging, and scientifically meaningful?
Are the health management suggestions practical and useful to users?
Is the alert/notification design reasonable in terms of completeness and frequency?
How do users engage in sharing, and what factors may influence organic growth?
Interview Recruitment
We recruited 6 target users who were colleagues from other product lines, mothers with children under 2, and had no prior exposure to this product. In addition, 4 internal stakeholders from marketing, customer experience, and brand management were involved to balance user and business perspectives.

User Journey Mapping
Building test pathways based on the user journey
To evaluate the product experience, I mapped the end-to-end journey from brand awareness → product purchase → sampling → processing → report access. This helped identify friction points, clarify user needs at each stage, and guide design improvements.

Touchpoints & Evaluation Metrics
Defining evaluation metrics across the user journey
I identified 5 key user touchpoints and defined evaluation questions on clarity, usability, expectation alignment, and recognition to guide UAT.

Practical Interview
Guiding user interviews as LEAD interviewer
Having designed the entire testing flow from the ground up, I was entrusted by the team to serve as the sole lead interviewer. They believed my approach could create a safe, empathetic space where mothers felt comfortable opening up. We conducted offline user interviews with a structured test team (lead interviewer, observer, and recorder) and 10 respondents. The session followed a structured flow:

Test Report & Delivery
Translating User Feedback into Actionable Insights
I led the synthesis and delivery of the final UAT report, consolidating user insights and stakeholder perspectives into actionable recommendations. The report structured findings across four themes—education, communication, purchase, and sharing—and highlighted key improvement opportunities for content clarity, process usability, and service positioning.

How I Grow From Here?
Feedback and Trust Led Me from Agency to In-house
During this internship, my team appreciated how I took ownership and grew quickly, while clients valued my ability to spot problems early and build trust through communication. Their recognition gave me more confidence in my strengths, and eventually opened the door for me to move from an agency role into Danone in-house, where I continued exploring product innovation driven by passion.
